Maccabi Tel Aviv have secured the future of one of their key players following weeks of uncertainty.
Iffe Lundberg has reached an agreement on a new three-year contract with the Israeli champions.
The Danish guard reportedly received interest from other EuroLeague clubs but ultimately chose to remain with Maccabi, where his role under head coach Oded Kattash and connection with the club proved decisive.

Lundberg rewarded after strong finish
Lundberg joined Maccabi from Partizan during the 2025-26 season after finding himself in a reduced role in Belgrade.
The 31-year-old quickly became an important part of Kattash's backcourt, averaging 11.0 points and 3.6 assists per game in the EuroLeague. He also recorded 10.5 points and 3.8 assists during the Israeli League regular season.
Lundberg raised his level during the domestic playoffs, producing 14.1 points, 5.1 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game while helping Maccabi defeat Hapoel Tel Aviv 3-1 in the finals.
His performances earned him Finals MVP honors as the club captured its 58th Israeli championship.
The Danish international has previously represented Manresa, Tenerife, Zielona Gora, CSKA, the Phoenix Suns, Virtus Bologna and Partizan before arriving in Tel Aviv.
He has made 145 EuroLeague appearances across spells with CSKA, Virtus, Partizan, and Maccabi.
